When the Prada team reached out to me and asked me to create paper flowers for special events in their Montaigne store and Pop-up at La Samaritaine I was so thrilled and overjoyed! Working with a renowned house like Prada is an incredible experience and I am so grateful to have a small part in their journey of introducing the spring summer 2023 collection to the public.
At the occasion of the presentation of the PRADA new collection in March, my mission was to create paper flowers in the colors of the spring-summer 2023 collection during two events, prepare the flowers directly in a beautiful spot in the boutique and give them as unique presents to the clientele visiting the Montaigne boutique and their pop-up store at the newly reopened La Samaritaine, in Paris.
For the first event at the Montaigne boutique: 100 large paper flowers of about 20 cm wide, beautifully wrapped in a Prada bespoke box the fashion house made for the occasion. For the second event at La Samaritaine, 170 flowers in a card, each wrapped in a lovely Prada enveloppe made for the occasion and 60 flowers on a brooch, to place on the clientele's shopping bag, their jacket, or even their hair!
Iconic, refinement and elegance were the key elements in creating the flowers and embodies for me the Prada house in all its essence.
